You’ve read articles and blogs on mobile marketing. Understand that to make it work effectively and quickly, you have to be very proactive. There are some things you can do now. The first thing you can do is join a social media recruitment agency or start your own. It’s free. The second thing you can do is contact a company that does Internet marketing, and start making smaller changes on the website for small pay, – called split testing, add a tweet or Facebook link to your website or blog. Take the time to do the basics on these things. Review, read tweets, Facebook, or any other type of social media site, including blogs. Start thinking of how you would like to target people to reach your site.
THERE IS NOTHING like a mobile campaign for you to do a mobile campaign.There are many ways you might think of doing this but most of them can be time consuming, and it’s usually not worth it. Before you do anything, I recommend shooting the breeze with a mobile marketing agency, and having them help you with setting goals, ideas, and talking through what’s working and what isn’t. Do this 1-to-5 hours per week. After that you are set. You have to do some thinking. If you are social media recruiter, like I am, or any other marketing firm, there are some things you can think of that you can add to your mobile campaign.
Simply put, if you don’t have someone trying to make money from your social media efforts, what you may be doing is taking time away from other things you are already doing. A campaign like that is not very good for you because on top of that, you’re going to have a lot of people watching your campaign trying to figure out how you are getting it and what they can do to improve it. So they could start asking you questions about your campaign, then they start asking about your website, and then start ripping you off. A do it yourself campaign isn’t so bad. Why not, the money isn’t there, and it really doesn’t take up much of your time. Who’s going to check if the query is real or not? Anyone can do this on their own time, without having to spend any money, right? Well, let’s get real for a moment. You’re probably going to have people trying to find out what your campaign is all about.
On top of that, that means you are going to have a bunch of people seeing your campaign that are not interested in how you or your business is going to make any money. With no interest, that means the people that are coming across your campaign isn’t going to do much to help out. In other words, you’re only going to get those visitors who aren’t going to be bringing any income for you. They’re not going to have an interest in what you do.
YOUR RESULT WE Started last Thursday. We offered some great deals last week and consequently I got a lot more traffic to our website and more people checking the website. So we’re going to do the same this week. In addition, we’re thinking about some more things that we would like to do. We’re looking into registration pages and Temperature alerts and other neat things.
Things that we want to do on a small scale. We’re about to do a deal that is very simple, but it’s going to turn out to be a big deal. It’s going to give us a lot of additional income over time. This thing is set up along with PayPerClick, Google AdWords campaigns and some other tools that will help. I mentioned the registration page before as one thing you might include, but the next week I would really like to discuss something that is similar, and shows how you can do the same thing with a mobile campaign, but it’s going to be harder to do the sign up page because of certain limitations that you may have. There are ways to do it, but they probably aren’t your best plan.
That means you have to figure out how you have the opportunity to collect people. Say you have a thing or a pay per click campaign that brings in people, and is positioned online week. Now you’re going to want to have an opt in page, something similar to a squeeze page and invite people to opt into it. That will cause them to opt into your email list and that is where you’re going to make more money.
